Hello!  And Welcome to Money for Thought.

A blog hoping to inspire you to create more abundance in your life.  Whether that is though simple saving ideas, or inspiring you to reach for more.  You'll see all kinds of topics on here; some of my passions include health, cooking, travel, children,  personal habit hacking, authenticity, organizing, and making life a bit more streamlined.

Some articles may not necessarily directly link to money, but in a backwards round about way I promise all articles and posts will relate to money.  If there is a particular topic you would like me to write about send me an e-mail: creativelyjessica@gmail.com;

Water Equals Abundance

What should I write about today?  Seriously, if there is any topic you would like me to write about please send me an e-mail at Creativelyjessica@gmail.com.  I'll make sure you get the article too!

Water is what keeps showing up, so water it is.  I LOVE water, I think most people do.  Babies love water, we can't live without water.  Water heals, water is beautiful.  All of the most expensive property is on the water.  Water and all its forms are often used as metaphors...  And water is also used by many people to increase their abundance.

Water is the single best thing besides breathing clean air, exercise and sleep that will improve our health.  If you want to loose weight you have to drink more water.  We all know we "should" drink more water.  If you want better skin you have to drink more water...  We know the health benefits and endless.  In addition the the health benefits, you just feel better when you drink plenty of water.

So how can water make you more abundant?
Energetically - it carries the energetic quality within it.  Try the rice experiment in your house just to see how powerful affirmations are.  A video is posted below, but there are several if you simply search "rice experiment".  And this is so easy to do.  Simply get a sharpie or a label maker and write loving positive affirmations on your water bottles, and or water filters.  I have affirmations on everything, because I believe it's very powerful.

I love you
I am wealthy
I am abundant
Money flows into my life like water
I am more abundant with every sip...
Whatever affirmation makes you feel good is perfect.

Thank you Dr. Emoto, truly.  Thank you for doing your research to prove what several past spiritual leaders have believed.  Thank you for teaching the world just how powerful water, and our thoughts are.

And then being in or around water, I do believe naturally lifts our spirits.  For myself, I have always gone to water when I was sad.  Either I would take a bath, or go for a walk along the water.  I always feel better afterwards.  And swimming, oh man!  I always feel incredible after swimming, there is something about being in the water that just washes everything away.  And with babies, if you ever have an upset baby turn on the water, fill a bowl and let them play with it, that will always make them stop crying, unless there is a much bigger problem going on.  But even if something serious is going on with your child, water will still help calm the situation down a little bit.  This has worked without fail every time for 20 years for me.

Now onto the more pragmatic reasons of how water will make you more abundant.  To start water is literally cheaper than other beverages.  Tap water is free.  Now I believe filtered water is better than tap, and that does cost something.  But depending on how much juice or soda you drink, most likely the filter will still work out to be cheaper.  That's just at an up front cost level.

Then there are massive health benefits.  Being fully hydrated will heal or help to heal almost every ailment.  If you are fully hydrated you will get sick much less often.  A long time ago, I learned that if you are fully hydrated and fully rested it is not possible to get sick.  While I still believe this, unfortunately I don't remember where I learned this, so I cannot site the source.  Drinking more water has always given me clearer skin the next day, and right now when I am fully hydrated, my gut issues are WAY better (like I think it is healed) and can tolerate foods I am not supposed to eat.

You will have more energy in general, and most likely it will contribute to sleeping better.  When I drink A LOT of water, like more than a gallon a day, I feel incredible.  Bouncing off the walls, life is so amazing incredible.  One day I was flying, the crew I was working with, decided to have a contest to see who could drink the most water on the flight.  To this day that was the best I had ever felt on a plane.  I was probably so annoying, I kept saying "wow! I can't believe how good I feel!"  I couldn't stop saying that, I really couldn't believe it.  Conversely when you are dehydrated, you are so sluggish and don't feel like doing very much.  But the only way to see if I am right or not is to try it out for yourself.  I recommend to do an experiment of drinking the recommended amount of water for your weight for at least two weeks.  And you want to make sure your intake is even throughout the day, not all at once, or large amounts a few times during the day.  Your body needs time to digest and take the nutritious hydration to where it needs to go.  If you do this experiment, then only record the water you drink.  Coffee, juice, and tea do not count when doing this experiment.  And rate how good you feel each day.

What will improving your energy and health do for your finances?  I would really love to see you find out.  Naturally you'll be in a better mood, so more opportunities will come your way, and work will not be as taxing.  Who knows you might feel like giving a little extra?  This will most certainly come back to you in wealth!  But you'll have to try it out to actually see the results.

So what is plenty of water?  Or rather, "enough" water?  And does juice, soda, coffee or tea count?  Personally I do not think anything measures up to water.  But if its drinking something or nothing, I do think drinking any of the other beverage options are better than nothing. Personally I think the best way to figure out what "enough" water is for you, is to track your water intake.  We all have smart phones, tracking it on an ap is a really easy way.  I have always drank a lot of water, but it wasn't until I began to track my water that I realized I was chronically dehydrated.  I was about 10-20 ounces short of what my body actually needed.  Once I began to drink enough water every day, and yes I did find it hard to fit that much water into my stomach, I began to sleep great almost every night and I was able to tolerate some foods that I was typically allergic to.

May abundance and prosperity flow into your life like water flowing down stream.

Love, Jessica
